REFUND POLICY

At DocuMate, we are committed to providing high-quality resume writing services in compliance with Australian consumer protection laws. We understand that circumstances may arise where you require adjustments to your order. However, please note that due to the personalised nature of our services, we are unable to offer refunds. Instead, we offer the following credit policy, which is fully compliant with Australian laws:

1. Credit Issuance:

If you are unsatisfied with the final product or experience any issues with our services, we will provide you with a credit that can be used towards any future resume writing service with DocuMate. This credit will be equal to the amount paid for the original service.

2. Requesting Credit:

To request a credit, please contact our customer support team within 15 days of receiving your completed resume. Our team will review your request in a timely manner and, if deemed eligible, issue the credit to your DocuMate account.

3. Credit Redemption:

You can redeem your credit by applying it towards any future resume writing service offered by DocuMate. Simply inform us of your intention to use the credit when placing your order, and we will guide you through the redemption process.

4. Non-Transferable:

The credit issued by DocuMate is non-transferable and can only be used by the original account holder. It cannot be exchanged for cash or any other form of refund.

5. Service Modifications:

If you require modifications to your resume after the initial writing process, we offer free revisions up to 15 days following the issue of the first draft of the document. Additional revisions may incur an additional fee as outlined in our pricing policy.

6. Exceptional Circumstances:

In exceptional cases where DocuMate is unable to fulfill its obligations due to unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to issue a refund in the original form of payment, in compliance with Australian consumer protection laws.

Please note that by availing our services, you agree to adhere to the terms and conditions as outlined in this refund policy, which are in full compliance with Australian laws. 

ENGAGEMENT OF SERVICE POLICY

Proof of payment is required prior to the commencement of any writing services. By paying the fee you are are agreeing to DocuMates terms of engagement which are set below. Once proof of payment has been received by our team, the processing time will commence. Please note, processing time is measured by business days on all accounts unless specified otherwise. This invoice is valid for 30 calendar days from the date of this document. A new invoice will be required if commencement of services has not taken place within this timeframe. Customers have 15 calendar days to request corrections and/or amendments. Any further change following this time period will insure the relevant update cost, current at the time of request. DocuMate’s views on proposed typology and information expressed during any service exchange are solely those of the writer and do not necessarily represent those of a specific industry. The information contained within any material provided by DocuMate, electronically or as an original, is on an "as is" basis with no guarantees of results obtained from the use of this information.

PRICING POLICY

Pricing Policy for DocuMate Resume Writing Business:

1. Service Pricing:

To review cost of services, please contact our customer service team and request a current pricing list.

2. Pricing Review and Updates:

DocuMate will review and update its pricing annually, at the start of each financial year, to ensure competitiveness and compliance with Australian Law.

3. Compliance with Australian Law:

All pricing and billing practices will fully comply with Australian consumer protection laws, including the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Pricing will be transparent, clearly indicating the cost of each service and any additional charges, if applicable. Any discounts, promotions, or special offers will be stated with their terms and conditions. DocuMate will provide accurate and detailed invoices and receipts for all transactions.

4. Payment Methods:

DocuMate accepts various payment methods, including:

     - Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)

     - Bank Transfers

     - PayPal

5. Refunds and Cancellations:

Refunds will be provided in accordance with the ACL and DocuMate's Refund Policy. 

DOCUMATE TERMS & CONDITIONS

REGISTERING FOR DOCUMATE'S TALENT POOL

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("T&C") carefully before registering with the DocuMate Talent Pool ("Talent Pool"). This T&C sets forth the legally binding terms and conditions for your use of the Talent Pool provided by DocuMate.

 

By registering with the DocuMate Talent Pool, you agree to be bound by this T&C and all applicable laws and regulations, including those regarding data protection and privacy, as outlined by Australian law. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing the Talent Pool.

 

1. Registration and Eligibility

1.1 You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during the registration process. It is your responsibility to keep your information current and promptly notify DocuMate of any changes.

 

2. Permission to Receive Emails

2.1 By accepting this T&C, you give your explicit consent for DocuMate to send you emails related to the Talent Pool, including but not limited to vacancies, promotional material, and email marketing campaigns.

2.2 You have the right to unsubscribe or opt-out of receiving such emails at any time by following the instructions provided in the email or by contacting DocuMate directly.

 

3. Use of Personal Information

3.1 DocuMate will collect, store, and process your personal information in accordance with applicable Australian privacy laws.

3.2 Your personal information will be used solely for the purpose of providing the Talent Pool, including but not limited to matching you with relevant job opportunities and sending you email communications.

3.3 DocuMate will take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, use, or disclosure.

 

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 The Talent Pool and all materials provided by DocuMate, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, are the intellectual property of DocuMate and are protected by Australian copyright and trademark laws.

4.2 You may not modify, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on any materials provided by DocuMate without prior written consent.

 

5. Limitation of Liability

5.1 DocuMate does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any information provided through the Talent Pool.

5.2 You acknowledge that your use of the Talent Pool is at your own risk and that DocuMate shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the T&C.

 

6. Indemnification

6.1 You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DocuMate, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Talent Pool or any breach of this T&C.

 

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

7.1 This T&C shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia.

7.2 Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this T&C shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

 

By accepting this T&C, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions outlined herein.

USE OF DOCUMATE'S FREE HIRING ASSISTANCE & REGISTRATION OF VACANT POSITION

By utilising DocuMate's FREE hiring assistance and registering a vacant position, the business agrees to the following terms and conditions:

 

1. Eligibility:

   a. The business must be legally registered and operating within Australia.

   b. The vacant position must be based in Australia and comply with Australian labor laws.

   c. The business must agree to these terms and conditions in their entirety.

 

2. Free Hiring Assistance:

   a. DocuMate offers free assistance in the hiring process, including resume screening, candidate shortlisting, and interview coordination.

   b. The extent of the free assistance provided will be determined by DocuMate based on the specific needs of the business and availability of resources.

   c. DocuMate does not guarantee the successful placement of a candidate or the outcome of the hiring process.

 

3. Use of Business Logo:

   a. By utilising DocuMate's free hiring assistance, the business grants DocuMate permission to use their logo on DocuMate's website.

   b. The purpose of using the business logo is to showcase the businesses that have benefited from DocuMate's services and to demonstrate credibility to other users.

   c. DocuMate will display the business logo responsibly and in accordance with Australian law.

   d. The business logo will not be used for any other purposes without the explicit consent of the business.

 

4. Testimonial Request:

   a. DocuMate requests a testimonial from the business regarding their experience with the free hiring assistance.

   b. The business is under no obligation to provide a testimonial, and their decision will not affect their eligibility for future free hiring assistance.

   c. Any testimonial provided by the business will be used for promotional purposes on DocuMate's website or other marketing channels.

   d. DocuMate reserves the right to edit or modify the testimonial for clarity and brevity while maintaining the essence of the business's feedback.

   e. The business will be credited for the testimonial using their name and, if provided, their job title and company name.

 

5. Compliance with Australian Law:

   a. These terms and conditions are in accordance with Australian law and are binding upon acceptance by the business.

   b. Any disputes arising from the utilisation of DocuMate's free hiring assistance and registration of a vacant position will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Australia.

 

6. Modification of Terms:

   a. DocuMate reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

   b. The business will be notified of any significant changes to the terms and conditions via the contact information provided during registration.

 

By registering a vacant position and utilising DocuMate's free hiring assistance, the business acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.

RIGHT TO SERVE

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any services provided by DocuMate, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

 

2. Right to Refuse Service

DocuMate reserves the right to refuse service to any individual or organisation at our sole discretion. We may refuse service for reasons including but not limited to:

 

   a. Violation of these Terms and Conditions

   b. Violation of applicable laws and regulations

   c. Engaging in activities that may harm our system or infrastructure

   d. Engaging in fraudulent or illegal activities

   e. Any other reason deemed necessary to protect the interests of DocuMate

 

3. Compliance with Australian Law

DocuMate operates in compliance with Australian laws and regulations. By using our services, you agree to comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations of Australia. Any violation of these laws may result in termination of our services and possible legal consequences.

 

4. Availability of Services

We shall not be liable for any damages or losses arising from the unavailability or interruption of our services.
